Baskent OSB Vocational School of Technical Sciences was established in 2017. Since the 2017-2018 academic years, Computer Programming, Map and Cadastre, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology and Construction Technology Programs have been opened. Starting from the 2018-2019 academic years the Machinery Program and from the 2020-2021 academic years the Welding Technology Program has started to accept students.
Today, one of the basic requirements of sustainable development is to have a sufficient number of qualified manpower. The vocational school, which aims to contribute to the training of qualified manpower with the knowledge and skills needed by the industry of the region and our country, was built by the Baskent OIZ.
The 3-storey school building has a closed area of 10630m2. In the school building, which is planned for a capacity of at least 1360 students, 20 classrooms, 1 multi-purpose conference hall for 200 people, 6 workshops, 12 practice classrooms, 30 administrative offices, a library, a cafeteria for 300 people, a cafeteria for 150 people and a closed sports hall area exist.
